Ruby+Associates, Inc. is proud to announce that Chris Lemmon, PE has passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Examination, and has officially obtained professional engineering licensure from the State of Michigan licensing board.

Lemmon passed the PE civil structural exam in October 2018.  He now holds active license status with Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor.

To become licensed, which allows the individual to use the PE seal, engineers must complete a four-year college degree; work under a professional engineer for at least 3 years; pass two intensive competency exams (including the PE exam), and earn a license from their state’s licensing board. Then, to retain their licenses, PEs must continually maintain and improve their skills throughout their careers.
