Allison Shenberger, PE Invited to Serve as Member of AISC Task Group

Ruby+Associates, a structural engineering firm dedicated to serving the construction industry, is proud to announce that Allison Shenberger, PE has been invited to serve as a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Ad Hoc Task Group on Design Basis 2028.  

Allison, along with 10 others, will serve a two-year term and will meet to discuss the two currently recognized design methods in the AISC 2028 specification. The group will ultimately make a recommendation to maintain two, or to eliminate one of the design methods from the specification.  The eleven-member group includes a chairman, seven members, two advisors and a secretary.  The group has planned a kick-off event to coincide with NASCC: The Steel Conference in Atlanta on April 21st, 2020.
