Tricia Ruby Honored as Diversity Business Leader by Corp! Magazine

Corp! Magazine and MichBusiness honored Tricia Ruby, CEO and President of Ruby+Associates with a Diversity Business Leader award at the Atheneum Suites Hotel during a luncheon and awards ceremony on September 13, 2018.  The award was presented during the Michigan Salute to Diversity Awards – The Art of Inclusion event.  Tricia, along with other individuals, companies and non-profit groups, were nominated and selected as mastering the art form of displayed significant achievement in diversity with their organizations and community.

This is the 12th year that Corp! Magazine has celebrated Michigan’s businesses and leaders who champion diversity and inclusion.  The event included awards in three categories: Diversity-Focused Company, Diversity Champion (nonprofit and community organizations) and Diversity Business Leader.  Tricia Ruby’s Diversity Business Leader nomination focused on her achievements related to encouraging women to pursue or stay active in STEM careers. Her participation and leadership in groups such as the American Heart Association’s Go Red Goes STEM program; the nonprofit human services agency the Judson Center, and her industry group involvement within the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) also contributed to her selection as an award-winner.
